We're currently working with Kew Gardens to organise group tickets for Christmas at Kew. As tickets sell out quickly every year, we're opening the waitlist now so we can estimate numbers and secure the best possible booking once confirmed.

There is no payment required to join the waitlist.

The Plan...

Every December, we want to bring the USVE community together to celebrate another incredible year of adventures.

Whether you've joined us on one hike or twenty, climbed mountains with us overseas or are thinking about coming to your very first event, this evening is all about slowing down, catching up with friends and celebrating the community we've built together.

We'll meet before sunset and head out on a relaxed community walk around Kew and along the Thames, giving everyone a chance to chat, meet new faces and enjoy the festive atmosphere before darkness falls.

As evening arrives, we'll make our way into the world-famous Christmas at Kew light trail, wandering through spectacular illuminated gardens, glowing tunnels, festive music and some of London's most magical Christmas displays.

There'll be plenty of opportunities for photos, hot chocolate stops and simply soaking up the atmosphere together.

Once we've completed the light trail, the evening doesn't end there.

We'll head to a nearby pub where we'll have our annual USVE Christmas social—a chance to grab some food, enjoy a few drinks, celebrate the adventures we've shared throughout the year and look ahead to everything that's coming next.

To make the evening even more memorable, we'll also be hosting a few festive community traditions:

🎅 Optional Secret Santa (£10 maximum gift value)

🎄 Christmas Jumper Competition with a USVE prize for the best festive outfit.

📸 Annual Community Christmas Photo beneath the Christmas lights—a tradition we'll continue every year.

🏆 USVE Awards, celebrating everything from "Most Adventures Joined" to "Best Photographer," "Most Improved Hiker," and even the inevitable "Always Late Award!"

❤️ We'll also take a few moments to look back on the year's highlights, celebrate the incredible friendships formed throughout the community, and share what's coming next for USVE in the year ahead.

If you'd like, we'll also be collecting optional donations or gifts in support of Havens House, helping us spread a little Christmas kindness beyond our own community.

This isn't just another hike.

It's our annual Christmas celebration.
